Checked like every other book

Sudoku: every grid has exactly one solution, counted by a second program (Knuth’s Algorithm X) separate from the one that makes the puzzles.
Word search: every word is in the grid exactly once, and the filler letters never spell a blocked word.
Mazes: every maze is a perfect maze with one route from the entry to the exit, checked from its walls.
Files: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter, cover size and spine are checked against KDP’s paperback specs, and the check is signed.

Questions

How big is large print?

The usual large print floor is 16 pt. Everything a solver reads while solving meets it: rules, puzzle labels, word lists and page numbers. Word lists and the rules page sit at 18 pt.

Which trim size is best for seniors?

8.5 × 11 in and A4 give the biggest grids, with 8 × 10 in close behind. On 6 × 9 and 7 × 10 in each sudoku gets a page to itself.

Do I tell KDP the book is large print?

Yes. KDP’s paperback details page has a Large print box: tick it for these books. listing.txt in the ZIP reminds you, along with the title, description, keyword ideas and the print options to pick.

Will KDP accept the files?

Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.

Is large print on by default?

Yes, for all three book types. Untick Large print in the form for a regular print book with more puzzles per page.
