How every puzzle is checked
- Each word exactly once. A second program scans every finished grid from scratch, in all eight directions, and confirms each listed word appears exactly once and the marked answer cells spell it.
- No unwanted words. The filler letters never spell a word from our blocked list, so no rude word hides in the grid.
- Levels by direction. Easy: words run right and down. Medium: adds two diagonals. Hard: all eight directions, backwards too.
- Full solutions at the back, each word marked in its grid.

Questions
Can I make a themed word search book?
Yes. Pick one theme for a single topic book (Birds, Christmas, Bible Names) or a few for a mixed one. Left empty, the book uses all 43 themes in turn.
Can I make a large print word search book for seniors?
Large print is on by default: the grid has fewer, bigger letters and the word list is set at 18 pt. The sample book above is large print, easy, 8.5 × 11 in.
Will KDP accept the files?
Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter for the page count, cover size and spine. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.
What goes in the listing?
listing.txt in the ZIP has a title, subtitle, description, seven keyword ideas and the print options to pick on KDP. The preview folder has six images of real pages for your listing.
