How every puzzle is checked
- Exactly one solution. A second program, separate from the one that makes the puzzles (Knuth’s Algorithm X), counts the solutions of every grid and checks the printed answer. A puzzle with two answers never reaches a page.
- Levels by the steps a solver needs. Easy: singles only, 36 or more givens. Medium: singles only, 28 to 35 givens. Hard: needs locked candidates or pairs. Expert: needs more than that. Easy, medium and hard can all be solved by logic alone.
- Full solutions at the back, in the same order as the puzzles.

Questions
Can I make a large print sudoku book for seniors?
Yes, large print is on by default: the grids and digits are bigger and there are fewer puzzles per page. The sample book above is large print, medium, 8.5 × 11 in.
Will KDP accept the files?
Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter for the page count, cover size and spine. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.
Can I make a series?
Yes. Make one book per level with your series name in the title, or the same level with new puzzles in each volume: every book without a seed gets new puzzles.
What goes in the listing?
listing.txt in the ZIP has a title, subtitle, description, seven keyword ideas and the print options to pick on KDP. The preview folder has six images of real pages for your listing.
