Jigsaw Sudoku books for KDP, ready to upload
Jigsaw sudoku, also called irregular sudoku, keeps the rows and columns of a sudoku and swaps its nine 3 × 3 boxes for nine irregular shapes, drawn with thick lines. Every puzzle in the book gets shapes of its own. Pick the level, the number of puzzles and the trim size. You get the interior PDF with every solution, the full wrap cover with the spine sized to the page count, and a signed check of both files against KDP’s paperback specs. One price for any jigsaw sudoku book: 500 credits, from $3.30 in the big pack.

How every jigsaw sudoku is checked
- Exactly one solution, with its own shapes. A second program, written apart from the one that makes the puzzles (Knuth’s Algorithm X), counts the solutions using that puzzle’s rows, columns and shapes, finds exactly one, and checks it against the answer printed at the back.
- Shapes you can read. Each shape is nine squares joined side to side and fits inside 5 rows and 5 columns; at least eight of the nine differ from a 3 × 3 box, and no two puzzles in a book share their shapes. The check rejects any puzzle whose shapes break a rule.
- Levels that hold. Easy and medium are solved square by square with singles; easy starts with 36 digits or more. Hard needs locked candidates or pairs. Nothing harder goes in a book, so every puzzle is solved by logic alone.
- Full solutions at the back with the same shapes, the starting digits in bold, in the same order as the puzzles.
What you choose

Questions
What is a jigsaw sudoku?
A 9 × 9 sudoku whose nine boxes are not squares. Thick lines split the grid into nine shapes of nine squares, like the pieces of a jigsaw. Every row, every column and every shape holds the digits 1 to 9 once. The book’s how-to page explains the rules on one page.
How is it different from a sudoku book?
The rules are the same, so a sudoku fan can start at once, but the shapes change from puzzle to puzzle, so the usual box habits stop working and every grid feels new. The pages look like a sudoku book’s: two or four grids to a page, one or two in large print.
Will KDP accept the files?
Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter for the page count, line weight, blank pages, cover size and spine. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.
Can I make a series?
Yes. One book per level with your series name in the title, or the same level with new puzzles in each volume: every book without a seed gets new puzzles and new shapes. Pick a cover color and layout for the series on the form, so its covers stand apart from other people’s.
What goes in the listing?
listing.txt in the ZIP has a title, subtitle, description, seven keyword ideas and the print options to pick on KDP. The preview folder has six images of real pages for your listing.
