Mazes for Kids books for KDP, ready to upload
Mazes for kids are small, with wide paths and bold walls. Easy is 6 squares wide and 7 tall, medium 8 by 10, hard 11 by 13, and a mixed book grows through all three. Every maze has exactly one way from START to FINISH, and that way is long enough and has enough forks to be a real puzzle, not a straight run. Pick the level, the number of mazes and the trim size. You get the interior PDF with every solution drawn, the full wrap cover with the spine sized to the page count, and a signed check of both files against KDP’s paperback specs. One price for any mazes for kids book: 500 credits, from $3.30 in the big pack.

How every puzzle is checked
- Exactly one way through. A second program, written apart from the one that builds the maze, reads the walls alone and confirms that START and FINISH are joined by one route and no more, that every square of the maze can be reached, and that the route printed in the solutions is that route.
- A real puzzle, not a straight run. A small maze can happen to run almost straight to the exit. Ours are kept only when the way through is at least one and a half times the shortest walk the grid allows and passes forks where a child has to choose: 3 or more in an easy maze, 4 in medium, 5 in hard.
- Bold, friendly lines. Walls are 2.5 to 5 pt thick with round ends, by the size of the squares, and START and FINISH are printed by the openings themselves.
- Full solutions at the back, the way through shaded in each maze, four to a page on the big sizes and two on 6 × 9 and 7 × 10 in.

Questions
How is it different from a maze book?
A maze book runs from 10 × 12 squares at easy to 32 × 40 at expert, with thinner walls, for older readers and adults. Mazes for kids stay between 6 × 7 and 11 × 13 squares, so the paths are wide and the walls bold, and every maze passes the route rules above.
Which level should a book use?
The level sets the size of every maze. Mixed is the usual choice for a first book: it starts with 6 × 7 mazes and ends with 11 × 13, so the book grows with the reader. A series can have one book per level.
Will KDP accept the files?
Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter for the page count, line weight, blank pages, cover size and spine. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.
