An activity book for kids holds two or three of our kids puzzles in one book: sudoku for kids, word search for kids and mazes for kids. The book opens with a contents page, each kind starts with its own page of rules, and the solutions sit at the back, kind by kind. One level sets every kind: easy is 4 × 4 sudoku, 8 × 8 word search and 6 × 7 mazes, hard is 9 × 9, 12 × 12 and 11 × 13. You get the interior PDF, the full wrap cover with the spine sized to the page count, and a signed check of both files against KDP’s paperback specs. How every puzzle is checked
- Each kind keeps its own rules. The puzzles in an activity book are made and checked exactly as in a book of one kind: every sudoku has exactly one solution reached by the simplest steps, every listed word appears in its grid exactly once, and every maze has exactly one way from START to FINISH with real forks on the way.
- A second program checks every puzzle. It was written apart from the one that makes the puzzles and reads only the finished grids and walls.
- A page of rules before each kind, written for children, and a contents page with where each kind and its answers start.
- Full solutions at the back, kind by kind, in the same order as the puzzles.

Questions
How is it different from a variety puzzle book?
A variety puzzle book mixes up to 18 kinds for adults, such as cryptograms, kakuro and crosswords. An activity book for kids holds only the kids kinds, at kids sizes, and the two never mix: a kids puzzle does not end up next to a killer sudoku.
Can I make a book of one kind instead?
Yes: sudoku for kids, word search for kids and mazes for kids each come as a book of their own; a sudoku for kids or mazes for kids book can also mix the sizes, small to large, through the book.
Will KDP accept the files?
Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter for the page count, line weight, blank pages, cover size and spine. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s 500 credits go back to your key.
What goes in the listing?
listing.txt in the ZIP has a title, subtitle, description, seven keyword ideas and the print options to pick on KDP, and it says which parts were drafted with an AI writing tool, for KDP’s question about AI. The preview folder has six images of real pages for your listing.
