How it works

  1. Choose the code type and enter a code or name fragment in the query field.
  2. Press Run to send the lookup.
  3. Read the JSON result, which lists matching records with all available code fields, a count, and a truncated flag if results were cut.

Limits

Each query may be up to 4,096 bytes. Every visitor gets twenty free calls a day without logging in. Beyond that, each call costs one credit drawn from prepaid credits attached to an API key.

Privacy

Your input is processed for the request and discarded immediately afterwards; it is not kept or used for any other purpose. Usage records store only time, tool, status, duration, credits used, and a salted hash of the IP address.

Call it from code

curl
curl -sS -X POST 'https://data.voiddo.com/v1/iso_codes' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \

20 calls a day need no key. Beyond that: one-time credit packs, $5 for 500 credits, $9 for 1,000 credits, $29 for 4,000 credits. Get credits · llms.txt · OpenAPI.

Questions

What code sets does this tool cover?

It covers ISO 3166-1 country codes, ISO 3166-2 subdivision codes, ISO 4217 currency codes, and ISO 639 language codes.

Can I search by name instead of code?

Yes. The query field accepts a code or any name fragment and matches case- and accent-insensitively.

How do I restrict a subdivision lookup to one country?

Set the type to subdivision and supply an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code in the country field; results are then limited to subdivisions of that country.

How do I call this from code?

Send a POST request to https://data.voiddo.com/v1/iso_codes with your parameters; a curl example is shown on this page.

What happens when the twenty free calls run out?

Further calls are paid with prepaid credits attached to an API key, at one credit per call.
