How it works

  1. Choose an operation — latest rates, a conversion, or a historical series — then fill in the currency fields and, for conversions, an amount.
  2. Press Run.
  3. Read the JSON result, which shows the rate, the ECB date used, and for conversions the calculated output amount.

Limits

Each call must fit within 4.096 KB of input and completes within 25 seconds. Every visitor gets 20 free calls per day without logging in. After those, each call costs 1 credit drawn from prepaid credits on an API key.

Privacy

Your input is processed for the request and discarded immediately afterwards; it is not stored or used for any other purpose. Usage records retain only the time, tool name, status, duration, credits used, and a salted hash of the IP address.
