A Puzzle Maker Pro alternative for puzzle books

Puzzle Maker Pro, from BookPublisherTools, is a Windows desktop program with more than 60 puzzle modules. You buy the modules you want once, a sudoku module from $27, or all of them on its Everything plan at $97 a month. It makes puzzles in large batches and lays them out as books, with more layout control in its higher editions. vøiddo does one thing: in your browser, it makes the finished files of a KDP puzzle book, interior and full wrap cover with the spine sized to the page count, and checks both against KDP’s paperback specs. You pay per book, from $3.30, and nothing renews.

Questions

A Puzzle Maker Pro module is bought once. Is it cheaper than vøiddo?

For one kind of puzzle over many books, it can be: their Sudoku 9x9 module costs $27 or $47 once, about what 10 of our books cost ($39). You then lay out each book, design the cover and size the spine yourself, on a Windows computer. Each vøiddo book arrives finished and checked, and our packs cost $15 for 3 books, $39 for 10 and $99 for 30.

Does vøiddo work on a Mac?

Yes. vøiddo runs in the browser, so a Mac, a Chromebook, a tablet or a phone all work, with nothing to install. Puzzle Maker Pro is for Windows; on a Mac their pages suggest running it in Parallels or VirtualBox.

Will KDP accept the files?

Each book passes our check against KDP’s published paperback specs before you can download it. If KDP still rejects the files within 30 days, the book’s credits go back to your key.

Can I get my money back?

At vøiddo, unused credits within 14 days of purchase, and a book’s credits if KDP rejects its files within 30 days (refunds). Puzzle Maker Pro sales are final; its demo is the way to test it first.

Is vøiddo connected to Puzzle Maker Pro?

No. Puzzle Maker Pro is made by BookPublisherTools in the Netherlands, according to its About page; this page compares public prices and features as they were on the date above.
