How it works

  1. Choose a PDF with the file picker — a sample is pre-filled so you can run the tool immediately.
  2. Press Run; the file is processed and the result returns within 15 seconds.
  3. Read the JSON response for page count, metadata, page sizes in millimetres, and other fields.

Limits

Files up to 10 MB are accepted. Page dimensions are reported for the first 50 pages of any document. You get 20 free runs a day without logging in; beyond that each run costs 1 credit drawn from prepaid credit attached to your API key.

Privacy

The file is processed for your request and discarded immediately afterwards; it is not stored or used for any other purpose. Usage records retain only the time, tool name, status, duration, credits consumed, and a salted hash of the IP address.

Call it from code

curl
curl -sS -X POST 'https://data.voiddo.com/v1/pdf_info' \
  -F 'input={}' \
  -F 'file=@input.pdf'

20 calls a day need no key. Beyond that: one-time credit packs, $5 for 500 credits, $9 for 1,000 credits, $29 for 4,000 credits. Get credits · llms.txt · OpenAPI.

Questions

What fields does the tool return?

It returns page_count, encrypted, password_required, a metadata object with title, author, subject, creator and producer, an array of page sizes in millimetres for up to the first 50 pages, has_text, and outline_count.

Is my file kept after the result is returned?

No. The file is processed for the request and discarded; it is not stored or used for anything else.

How do I call this from code?

Send a POST request to https://data.voiddo.com/v1/pdf_info — a curl example is shown on this page. The API accepts the same input and returns the same JSON.

What happens once I exceed the 20 free runs a day?

Each additional run costs 1 credit drawn from prepaid credits attached to your API key; no login is required to use the free tier.

Can the tool read encrypted PDFs?

The tool reports whether a PDF is encrypted and whether a password is required; it returns those flags in the output regardless.
