kdp · verify a report
Is this check report genuine?
Every book and every file check made on mint comes with a report signed with our key. Enter its id to see the verdict, each check, and the SHA-256 of the exact files it covered.
How the check works
The report lists what our program measured in the PDF files against KDP’s published paperback specs on the date shown: page size, page count, embedded fonts, margins and gutter, image resolution, cover size, spine and barcode area. It is our check, not an approval from Amazon. A file changed after the check has a different SHA-256, so compare the hash with your file (sha256sum interior.pdf) before you rely on the report.
